More Data. Less Time. Fewer Wells.
A simplified kinase assay workflow to fit your needs.
Standard endpoint assays used to quantify kinase activity can be long and laborious. To start, you need to prepare separate wells for each time point and compound dose. As the assay runs, you need to track each timepoint, manually stop the reaction, add a readout reagent, and then read the signal from each well to build a progress curve. It’s a resource-consuming process that uses valuable reagents, plates, and time.
What if there was a simpler way?
Our PhophoSens® assay uses a simple add-and-read protocol that generates a full progress curve in every well. It continuously measures the catalytic event of phosphorylation in real-time so you can simply set up the number of wells per compound doses you want to study, start reading the signal, and walk away.
Let’s say you want to run an experiment testing 12 compound doses at 10 timepoints. A traditional endpoint assay would require over 120 wells—one for each compound dose at each timepoint. Using our PhosphoSens assay, the same experiment would only require 12 wells, maximizing your reagents and most importantly, your time.
